Virginia Lou Moore

Virginia Lou Moore was born on June 20, 1944 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Odis Alvin Duke and Opal Pauline (Holland) Duke. She passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at her home in Maysville at the age of 69 years. Virginia lived all of her life in the Maysville area. She studied nursing at Rose State College. She had worked as a waitress, factory worker, daycare worker, and most recently as an aide at the Maysville Elementary School. Virginia was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and volunteered with the Veterans Association. She was a member of The Assembly of God Church in Maysville. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Her survivors include her son, Rickey Richardson and wife Sonia of Tucson, Arizona. Sisters: Connie Nelson of Cashion; and Shellia Watson and husband Larry of Tecumseh. A brother, Earl Duke of Pauls Valley. Grandchildren: Madison Richardson, Brendan Richardson, Nicole, Tyler, and Brandon Potts, and Hunter Rangel. And a host of other relatives and friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Odis and Opal Duke; husband, Charles Richardson; sons, Donnie Richardson and Billy Joe Richardson; and a brother, Curtis Duke. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville with Rev. Billy Davenport officiating.
