Connie Jean Smith

Connie Jean Smith of Lindsay passed away in Lindsay on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the age of 54 years. She was born on April 18, 1959 in San Jose, California to J. A. Jordan and Wanda Joan (Stroud) Jordan. Connie had lived in Lindsay off and on all of her life. She was a homemaker who enjoyed working in her yard, going to the lake, fishing, and reading mystery novels. She loved her Boxer dogs. Connie married Roger Smith on February 27, 1985. She was a member of the Banner Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors include daughters: Crystal Donaldson of Oklahoma City; and Misty Cowan and husband Michael of Lexington. Grandchildren: Kyle Shafer, Anthony Powell, Sela Donaldson, and Bethany Donaldson. Sisters: LaVerta Due, Terry Kelly, and Zadie Doty. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, J. A. and Wanda Jordan; husband, Roger Smith; and a brother, James Allen Jordan. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, OK.
