Patsy Gene Dillard

Patsy Gene Dillard of Maysville died suddenly on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Lindsay Municipal Hospital at the age of 60 years. She was born on August 11, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Louis Woods and Mary P. (Randolph) Woods. Patsy attended Ardmore High School through the 11th grade then acquired her GED. She moved to Maysville 15 years ago where she met and married Joe Dillard on August 23, 2000 at Chickasha, Oklahoma. Patsy worked out of her home for 13 years as a Medical Transcriptionist for different companies all over the United States. She was currently working as a sitter who took care of the elderly helping them with their every need. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, flower gardening, and copying scriptures from the Bible. Patsy loved her dog, Annie. She was a member of the “Red Hat Ladies” and the First United Methodist Church in Maysville. Patsy was also a breast cancer survivor since 1990. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and many friends. Her survivors include her husband, Joe Dillard of the home in Maysville. Sons: Lee Brown and wife Ann Marie of Illinois; Mick Rose and wife Tara of Edmond; and Larry Rose of Maysville and best friend Tina. Sister, Judy Pekar of Conroe, Texas. Grandchildren: James Brown, Amber Wisinger, Christian Rose, and Mary Rose. And 1 great grandson, Clayton Wisinger II. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Chambers. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Maysville Cemetery with Bro. Mike Deviney officiating.
