Hal Spence Reese

Hal Spence Reese of Maysville passed away at his home Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the age of 61 years. He was born on January 14, 1951 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Kenneth Eugene and Alice Arvine (Gabbard) Reese. Hal lived in the Maysville area several different times during his life. He attended Maysville Schools for several years and then graduated in 1969 from Gainesville High School in Texas. He worked for different oil companies, working offshore and driving trucks. Hal enjoyed hanging out with Mike, shooting guns with him and teaching him gun safety. He could be seen visiting every morning at the Maysville Gas ‘N’Go. He attended the First Assembly of God Church in Maysville. Hal will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Survivors include his mother, Alice Reese of Maysville. God-Son, Michael Stewart of Maysville. Brother, Stanley Reese of Gainesville, Texas. Sister, Rita Covington and husband Larry of Gainesville, Texas. Nieces, nephews, and many special friends. Hal was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Reese in 1999. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, December 24, 2012 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville with Rev. Steve Spangler officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Oklahoma.
