Bobbie Nell Johnson of Maysville passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Lexington, OK at the age of 71. She was born on October 26, 1940 in Henrietta, Texas to Scott Jefferson Williams and Gay Nell (Davis) Williams. Bobbie grew up in the Stratford and Pauls Valley areas, attending school at Stratford. She married Howard Lee Johnson on February 1, 1958. She worked at the Pauls Valley State School and as a CNA at the Veteran’s Center in Norman. Bobbie loved spending time with her family. She liked quilting and her ceramic yard ornaments. She enjoyed attending church, and visiting and eating with her friends. Bobbie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Maysville. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Her survivors include her daughters: Patty McDonald and husband Terry of Lexington; Brenda Johnson of Maysville; and Cindy McDaniel and husband Marvin of Purcell. Adopted son, Christopher Johnson of Maysville. Brothers: Scott Williams and wife Sharon of Ardmore; Barry Williams of Norman; and Billy Williams and wife Ima of Noble. A sister, Frances Woods and husband Sonny of Norman. Grandchildren: Ray, Veta, Deborah Jo, Brylan, Brady, and Lynnsi. Great grandchildren: J.T., Rylee, Ryder, Katheryn, Daemeon. And numerous other relatives and friends. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; daughter, Sharon Robinson; grandson, Eric Robinson; and 1 brother, Ray Williams. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Maysville with Rev. Charley Henthorn,Rev. Steve Spangler, and Donald Gillham officiating. Burial will be in the Elmore City Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
