Betty Louise Hartley

Betty Louise Hartley, 81, of Maysville passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 5, 1930 in Maysville, OK to Thompson H. and Melissa Louise (Clark) Foster. Betty was a Maysville resident all of her life. She graduated from Whitebead School in 1947. Betty retired from the Pauls Valley State School where she had worked as a cook and an aide. She would work two jobs to support her family. Betty enjoyed going to the Senior Citizen Centers to listen to the music. She was a faithful follower of the “Young and the Restless” and “ The Price Is Right” television shows. Betty liked having coffee and visiting with her friends. She took good care of her family and loved keeping the grandbabies. Betty was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her sons: Wiley Hartley of Maysville; Billy Hartley and wife, Eva of Wanette; Travis Hartley and wife, Cassie of Paoli; and Joe Bob Hartley and wife, Dedra of Maysville. Daughters: Becky Morphew and husband, Tommy of Duncan; Brenda Kay Hartley of Maysville; and Diana Selman and husband, Rick of Maysville. Sister-in-law, Thelma Foster of Pauls Valley. 13 Grandchildren: Daisy Anisa Hunter, Brandi Fierro, Robert Hartley, Misty Woods, Bradley Clampitt, Dustin Hartley, Lindsey Herbert, Jenna Boyles, Breanna Cable, Anisa Tucker, Joseph Hartley, Zach Hartley, and Hunter Hartley. 16 great grandchildren. And by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold L. Hartley; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; a daughter-in-law; and a great grandson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville, OK with Rev. Billy Davenport officiating. Burial will be in the Whitebead Cemetery under the direction of JohnWilliams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
