Leonard Lee Creech, 74, of Canadian, OK died Friday, February 24, 2012 at Noble Health Care Center, Noble, OK. He was born on November 27, 1937 in Rochester, Texas to Robert R. and Stella Mae (Hibdon) Creech. Lee grew up and attended school in Tucumcari, New Mexico. He moved from place to place while working in the oilfields before settling in Norman, OK. Before retiring at Lake Eufaula in Canadian, OK, Lee worked as a driller and owned his own consulting company. He had also owned 3 gasoline service stations. Lee will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his son, Robert Creech and wife, Holly of Norman. Daughter, Dana Carr and husband, Tim of Maysville. Sisters: Martha Clark and husband, Wayne of Tucumcari, New Mexico; Nell Brake and husband, Rufus of Tucumcari, New Mexico; Gladys Teakell and husband, Louis of Odessa, Texas; and Wanda Sue Lundeen of Tucumcari, New Mexico. Grandchildren: Bryan Carr and wife, Francie of Pauls Valley; Railee Morgan Creech and Ashlee Nicole Creech both of Norman. 2 Great grandchildren, Abby and Ellie Carr. Mother of his children, Karol Ann Dick of Arlington, Texas. Lee was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert R. Creech, Jr. and Hubert Randolph Creech; and 2 infant sisters.
