Darrell Dewayne Donaho, 53, of Maysville died suddenly of a heart attack on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Purcell Municipal Hospital. He was born August 13, 1957 at Purcell, Oklahoma to Perry Lee “Dick” and Della Golden (Riddle) Donaho. Darrell lived his entire life in the Hughes, Wallville, and Maysville area, attending school at Hughes and Maysville. On November 10, 1973 he married JoAnn Cacy and to this union three sons were born. She preceded him in death in 1997. Darrell had worked as a truck driver, hauling cattle, hay, and rock, but most recently was employed with McClain County District I as a heavy equipment operator. When he was trucking, he was known by the CB handle of “Bronc Buster”. He enjoyed watching the boys play ball and even helped with the sideline chains at the football games. Darrell liked riding horses and roping. He enjoyed working sun up to sun down and was always willing to help people. On February 5, 2010 he married Tina Whitaker at Pauls Valley. Darrell was affiliated with the Hughes Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Tina of the home in Maysville. Sons: Jason Donaho and wife, Sheila; James Donaho and Jami; and Dillon Donaho all of Maysville. Step- daughter, Stephine Whitaker of Maysville. Brothers: Billy Donaho of Maysville; and David Donaho and wife Evon of Maysville. Sisters: Peggy and Bill Joslin of Lexington; Naomi Penner of Purcell; Norma and Bill Ramsey of Lindsay; and Mary and Johnny Diggs of Lexington. 4 grandchildren: Dalton Gamble, Cody Donaho, Shade Donaho, and ABCdE Donaho. And by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Della Donaho; his first wife, JoAnn Cacy Donaho; and his brother, Jimmy Don Donaho. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Abundant Love Fellowship, Maysville, OK. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
