Anita Sue Walden, 70, of Dallas, Texas was born on May 9, 1941 at Carlsbad, New Mexico to Howard and Juanita (Narramore) Walden. She began everlasting life with the Lord on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Anita attended Maysville High School graduating in 1959 at Maysville, Oklahoma. She married Ben Wigley in September 1960 at the First Baptist Church in Maysville. Ben and Anita had three children: Curtis, Kelley, and Clayton. In addition to being a homemaker, Anita was employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative. Anita enjoyed cooking, visiting with her friends, and spending time with Sophie, her beloved Westie. Anita exemplified courage and perseverance as she battled failing health the last several years of her life. However, through all her illnesses, she exemplified bravery and perseverance and never gave up hope of getting better. Her fighting has ended and, as in the song, she is in the “Mansion Just Over The Hilltop” living eternally with her Lord. She is survived by her daughter, Kelley and her son, Clayton. Brother, Dan Walden and wife, Vickie Nephew, Steve Walden and niece, Katie Walden. Anita’s loving parents preceded her in death. Howard and Juanita Walden were long time residents of Maysville and faithful members of the First Baptist Church. She is also preceded in death by her son, Curtis Wigley.
