Danny Eugene Auld Born: January 8, 1963 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to David Wayne Auld and Doris Jo Slay Auld. Died: March 24, 2011 at Oklahoma University Presbyterian Hospital. Age: 48 Eugene lived in Lindsay all of his life, graduating from Lindsay High School in 1981. After graduation he started trucking and he worked for B&B Tool, REC, Sooner Trucking, S&H Trucking, Femco, and Chatum. Eugene loved country music, 2- step dancing, cooking, fishing, and was passionate about the Southern Confederacy. He was known to be a good-hearted person and dearly loved his daughter, Danni. “Uncle Eugie”enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews and Halloween. He was baptized at the Erin Springs Baptist Church in 1978, and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Lindsay. Eugene will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Survivors: parents: Wayne and Betty Auld of Rush Springs, and his mother, Doris Auld of Duncan. Daughter, Keira Jayne Dannielle Auld of the home, and her mother, Sherry Auld. Brother, Daryl Auld and his wife, Tish and family of Lindsay 4 Sisters: Debra Smith and her husband, Jack and family of Duncan; and Diane Powell and her husband, Randy Powell of Lindsay; Torie Townley and her husband, Rodney and family of Maysville; and Kim Kraft and family of Pauls Valley. And many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and loving friends. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Erin Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Hicks and Rev. Ronnie Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery of Lindsay under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.
