Born: October 16, 1947 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Leon and Ruth Comer Hatfield. Died: May 22, 2009, at his home in Kingston, Oklahoma Age: 61 Troy Hatfield has been a resident of Oklahoma most of his life. He grew up in Maysville, Oklahoma graduating in 1965. He graduated from OSU in 1973 with a degree in Wildlife Biology. Troy was a 30 year employee for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife. He enjoyed all aspects of the out-of-doors and especially teaching children about wildlife in Oklahoma. He received various awards and certificates of recognition for his efforts during his career. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and was a member of the Methodist Church as a young man. Troy was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving for 4 years. He will certainly be missed by his family and many friends made throughout the years. Survivors: His wife Barbara of the home in Kingston. His mother: Ruth Hatfield Puckett and husband O.B. of Maysville His Children: 2 Sons: Dak Hatfield and wife Robyn of Ft. Worth, Texas and Dray Hatfield and wife Erin of Norman, Oklahoma, and by the mother of his children Judy Hatfield of Norman. 1 Grandchild: Hudson Luke Hatfield of Ft. Worth. 2 Brothers: Grant Hatfield of Maysville and Todd Hatfield and wife Pam of Maysville.and by numerous other family members. Troy is preceded in death by his father Leon, and sister Nita Forkner. ******Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at 1:00 pm., at the First Baptist Church of Maysville with Rev. Charley Henthorn officiating with services under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, with burial in the Foster Cemetery, SW of Elmore City.
